Roger Federer has become the first man to win ‘X’ number of Grand Slams in his career. That was perhaps the commentary highlight from last night’s Wimbledon final between the Swiss star and Marin Cilic. It’s quite literally pointless to try and put a number to his ever-growing feats – it’s bound to be surpassed in a split few seconds.
How does he do it though? Challengers have come and left, but Federer continues to cement himself right at the top of the food chain. In the aftermath of Fed’s win last night, tennis legend Boris Becker made an attempt to verbally explain the secret behind the Swiss ace’s longevity and sustained success.
