In order to snap up the best local players, Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) have announced a mission to search for truly talented players in every state.
In fact, they will recruit three scouts in every state to search high and low for new talents.
The announcement was made by the club’s Sports director, Alistair Edwards, on Johor Southern Tiger’s Facebook page Thursday night.
“We will recruit three scouts in every state to search for truly talented players. Get ready ubi-ubi!” the Facebook post read.
The new talents that are recruited will earn a place in the JDT Academy, and if they are proven to be game-changers, they could ultimately land a spot in the JDT team.
JDT have also agreed provide an incentive of RM10,000 to every scout after successfully identifying new, talented, players.
“This shows that we are serious — not only about the grassroots development in Johor — but also to search for every talented player in the country to play in JDT. So, get ready ‘ubi ubi’!” the JDT sports director said.
JDT emerged as Super League champions for the fourth consecutive time this year, and it seems like they are looking to keep making history with new, fresh talents onboard.
