No more unpaid salary if I’m elected as KAFA president, says Bibi Ramjani

The Kelantan FA is heading into a new era this week as they are ready to select new board members for the upcoming term from 2017 until 2021.

The hottest seat in the election is the seat of the president, vacated by former KAFA president Tan Sri Annuar Musa when he resigned from the position in November 2016.

Tan Sri Annuar Musa was nominated yet again for the post of president, which he had politely declined via an official statement on his Facebook page. He said he has spent enough time as president with KAFA and it is time to give the opportunity to someone new – someone with new and fresh perspectives who can turn things around at the club.

Other candidates named for the position of president include Datuk Mohamad Nasir Hamzah and Datuk Rosmadi Ismail (Vice Presidents of KAFA), Datuk Shaari Hassan (Director of Chengal Jati Sdn Bhd), and there’s also a female candidate: Bibi Ramjani Ilias Khan (entrepreneur).

Bibi Ramjani, who is the manager of Desa Murni Batik Kota Bharu, has expressed that she is keen on bringing about positive changes to the club.

KAFA, as we know it, has been embroiled in financial scandals for some time now, with multiple players and officials coming forward and demanding their unpaid salary.

KAFA also has an ongoing case with FIFA, and have not obtained approval from the Football Association of Malaysia to compete in the 2018 Super League (see below).

Bibi Ramjani, who was initially only planning to sponsor The Red Warriors, is ready to take on the challenge at KAFA.

The entrepreneur also made a very tempting promise – she said that there will be no more unpaid salary issue if she takes over.

“I have experience in business and with all my expertise, I have make sure of KAFA’s financial stability next season, and I have make sure we pay all our debts.” she told Utusan.

“There will be no more outstanding salary problems once I take over.” she added.

Bibi Ramjani also noted that she will not use KAFA as a platform to promote her business, and she will make KAFA’s needs a priority.
